What you’ll be doing: As a Staff Accountant, you will support the day‑to-day accounting operations of a global, fast‑growing organization. You’ll work closely with the Audit & Compliance team to ensure accurate financial reporting, timely reconciliations, and strong internal controls.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
  • 1–2 years of accounting or audit experience
  • Fundamental knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting principles with strong understanding of accrual-based accounting
  • Required: Microsoft Office, ERP, and business systems experience
  • Required: Advanced Excel knowledge, with demonstrated knowledge of pivot tables, formulas, shortcut keys, and other advanced Excel tools and functions as required
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively across teams
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Self‑motivated with a desire to learn and grow within the organization

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with multinational or multi‑currency environments is a plus
  • Progress toward CPA or interest in pursuing CPA is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assisting with maintaining and balancing accounts by preparing journal entries, posting transactions, and performing routine reconciliations
  • Supporting the month‑end close process across multiple international entities
  • Preparing schedules and analyses to help explain variances in general ledger activity
  • Assist with statutory audit requirements across various countries, supporting local auditors and internal teams by preparing schedules, gathering documentation, and helping ensure compliance with different GAAP frameworks
  • Helping prepare components of the consolidated financial reporting package
  • Assisting with indirect tax compliance, including gathering data for state sales tax and international GST/VAT filings
  • Assist with indirect tax related activities in the ERP system, including maintenance of tax codes, validating system configurations, and ensuring accurate application of indirect tax rules across transactions
  • Assist with property tax responsibilities, including gathering required data, supporting return preparation, monitoring assessments, and helping ensure timely filings and payments
  • Assist with the company’s transition to e‑invoicing by helping update processes, supporting system configuration, and coordinating required documentation to ensure a smooth implementation
  • Providing support for direct tax return preparation as needed
  • Assist with monitoring and responding to local tax requirements, including reviewing tax notices, gathering supporting documentation, and coordinating with external advisors to ensure timely resolution
  • Ensuring adherence to company accounting policies and procedures
  • Contributing to ongoing improvements in accounting processes, systems, and documentation
  • Maintaining confidentiality and safeguarding company financial information
  • Performing other duties as assigned to support the broader Accounting and Finance team
