Requirements

  • Strong working knowledge of Excel
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to accuracy and detail required.
  • Must be organized and neat.
  • Must be able to perform independent research.
  • Fast learner, results oriented, self-driven.

  • Accounting experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close, including assigned journal entries, balance sheet account reconciliations, accruals, and overall maintenance of all GL accounts
  • Performs general ledger account reconciliations, verify accuracy of data, and report, identify, and correct errors made by both internal and external personnel
  • Maintain and update records and reports for profit and loss, taxes, liabilities, and asset
  • Produce daily/monthly reports, which include key metrics, financial results, and variance reporting.
  • Prepare special financial reports as requested by management by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
  • Provides supports to all department with general ledger transactions and financial statement.
  • Identify opportunities for process automatization in accounting department.
  • Reconcile transactions by comparing and correcting data.
  • Provides outside auditors with assistance; gathers necessary account information and documents to perform annual audit
  • Provides support with 1099s, W2 and other annual external reporting.
  • Coordinates with software vendor to maintain accounting software systems; recommends updates to enhance the accounting software.
  • Drive process improvement and policy development initiatives that impact the function.
  • Misc. task as assigned by management.
