Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally with exposure to multi-entity environments
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and payroll processing experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize data, identify trends, and drive process improvements
  • Superior organizational skills, attention to detail, and a strategic mindset
  • Proven track record of initiative, leadership, and readiness for advancement.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics (Great Plains) a plus

Responsibilities

  • Perform weekly payroll processing and oversee related compliance and process improvements
  • Participate in month-end close, including complex journal entries, variance analysis, and executive-level financial reporting
  • Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring robust controls and audit readiness
  • Partner with the Controller on monthly financial statements, forecasts, and strategic planning
  • Design and enhance management reports for senior leadership
  • Provide authoritative guidance on accounting and financial questions through advanced data analysis
  • Prepare daily deposit account reconciliations and serve as primary backup for accounts payable
  • Support annual physical inventory and external audit
