The hotel/resort is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their team. As a Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for analyzing financial information, preparing financial reports, and assisting with budget preparation. The Staff Accountant performs various data gathering, tracking, and record keeping; financial forecasting, budgeting, and planning; preparing of financial schedules, statements, and reports. Performs related accounting and financial analyses in one or more financial areas including auditing, budgeting, cost accounting, general accounting, and program cost control and scheduling. If you have a strong background in accounting, exceptional attention to detail, and are eager to grow your career in the hospitality industry, you are encouraged to apply!

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in accounting or related field
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze financial data
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and accounting software
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Able to read and understand technical forms and financial reports

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred
  • Hospitality industry experience preferred
