Requirements

  • 2 to 4 years of accounting experience, including accounts payable, reconciliations, and general accounting procedures
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy to ensure financial data integrity
  • Critical thinking skills to analyze and resolve discrepancies effectively
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills to meet deadlines
  • A high level of professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical standards
  • A collaborative mindset to work effectively with team members and vendors
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills for clear and professional interactions
  • A willingness to learn, improve processes, and embrace new challenges

Responsibilities

  • Assists with calculation and preparation of month end and annual financial and operational reports
  • Conducts bank reconciliation
  • Assists in month end closing process including preparation and posting of journal entries
  • Prepare and analyze various accounting reports including variances to budget
  • Assist with the development, implementation and documentation of internal and external accounting and operating policies, procedures and process improvements for general accounting functions
  • Reconciles assigned balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Processes fixed assets by receiving related AP invoices, tracking fixed assets for all companies
  • Assists with budgets and forecasting
  • Assists with annual audits
  • Assists in special projects and completes duties as deemed necessary by management
