Stephano Slack is looking to hire a Tax Staff Accountant with 2+ years of experience, in our Wayne, PA office. This job will be with our Individual tax team. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Clear and effective written and verbal communication internally and externally with project team, peers and leadership Preparation of various tax documents and workpapers including, but not limited to: Corporate, partnership, individual, trust, and not-for-profit tax returns Tax workpapers for accrual-to-cash conversions, book-to-tax differences and tax provisions Tax projections for individual and business clients Professionally communicate with clients and build positive, sustainable client relationships Assign work to Tax Associates when appropriate, ensuring work is completed in a timely and thorough manner Review tax returns prepared by Tax Associates when appropriate, providing guidance and development opportunities Assist in the training and development of Tax Associates Participate in business development initiatives and activities Perform tax research and completion of special projects as they arise QualificationsREQUIRED SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND EDUCATION Bachelors or Masters of Accounting and/or Taxation 2+ years public accounting experience which includes preparation of individual tax returns, and communication with clients is required. CPA license (or working towards a CPA license) is required. Experience with CCH Software: Axcess Tax, Workstream, Document, and Bloomberg Income Tax Planner is desired. Requirements
- Bachelors or Masters of Accounting and/or Taxation
- 2+ years public accounting experience which includes preparation of individual tax returns, and communication with clients is required.
- CPA license (or working towards a CPA license) is required.
