Prepares, maintains, and distributes various reports. Tracks information on a daily basis. Reviews Accounts Payable bills and proves to General Ledger. Proves Operations Account Statement. Maintains Prepaid accounts. Assembles reports and prepares minutes for the Rate Group. Proves the Federal Reserve Statement on a daily basis. Investigates reconciliation or balancing discrepancies and proposes long-term resolutions. Maintains all IRR data and reports. Prepares numerous reports and graphs. Prepares Regulatory Reports under supervision of Controller. Prepares Quarterly Statements. Assists in preparing Annual Report and IRR reports. Collaborates with management to develop and refine departmental procedures, workflows, and control frameworks. Effectively interacts with external examiners and outside accountants as needed. Adheres to banking regulations and compliance standards, maintaining the highest level of integrity and confidentiality. Abides by all aspects of First National Bank’s policies and procedures, and applicable laws and regulations. Completes other duties that may be assigned. Must be willing to attend webinars, seminars and conferences (on-property and off-property) pertinent to the department to keep abreast of the latest developments affecting the Bank and its industry.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent from four-year college, preferably in Business, Accounting, Finance or related field; and a minimum of five years’ successful experience and/or training in a financial institution or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Effectively communicates in English; proficient reading, writing and grammar skills; proficient analytical and mathematics skills; proficient communicative and interpersonal relations skills.
  • Must be proficient in Windows operating system, Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Word, internet browsers, and software used by the bank, with strong detail orientation.
