About The Position

Staff Accountant- Property Management DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES Perform monthly bank reconciliations for various project bank accounts. Prepare and reconcile gross potential rent for multiple properties. Review and approve accounts payable documentation submitted from projects through Yardi Voyager. Process account receivables for assigned projects. Review and approve new vendors requested by staff. Compile and send quarterly reports related to property operations and financial information to investors and lenders. Assist in the coordination of the annual budgets. Compile annual audit workpaper packet and work with auditors to address questions or open items that arise from their review. Participate in monthly portfolio review meeting for portfolio of properties assigned. Work closely with Regional Managers and Regional Vice Presidents related to the financial needs of the properties. Review and approve weekly accounts payable requests for properties assigned. Work closely with accounts payable accountants, accounting managers, and property managers. Requirements

  • Strong computer skills required and willingness to learn industry standards.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft products a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred or 2+ years professional experience
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and insurance.

  • Backround experience in Yardi and Real Page would be a plus
