About The Position

The Staff Accountant will be responsible for overseeing general accounting functions, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and assisting in special projects. The Staff Accountant is responsible for preparing and reviewing cash movement across multiple entities, bank statement reconciliations, and the accounting for servicing on behalf of investors. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 2 years of related accounting experience
• Excellent reasoning and critical thinking skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Nice To Haves

• 2 years of public accounting experience
• Certified Public Account (CPA) designation

Responsibilities

• Performs cash tracking for a complex entity structure, on a daily basis.
• Reviews bank reconciliations for accuracy and records adjusting entries as appropriate.
• Prepares servicer reports for stakeholders.
• Assists with external auditor requests.
• Documents procedures as necessary
• Suggests efficiencies for future scalable operation.
• Ad hoc projects as necessary
