About The Position

Loads pallets with finished product and verifies quantity, quality, and labeling of products ready for shipment by performing the following duties: Other duties may be assigned. Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets by hand. Counts, weighs, and records number of units of materials moved or handled on daily production sheet. Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials. Cleans and sanitizes work area. Assists other positions when needed. Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Must be able to speak, read and write in English
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions and procedure manuals
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have basic knowledge of computers and the ability to input data into a computer or tablet
  • Lift 50 pounds 200-450 times during the shift
  • Stand and/or walk for the duration of the shift
  • Use hands to finger, grip, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms
  • Talk and hear
  • Occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
  • Close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
