As a Stabilization Specialist, you play a key role in supporting families as they work toward housing stability and long-term independence. This position helps ensure that families not only access housing opportunities but also receive the guidance, resources, and support needed to maintain stable housing. The Stabilization Specialist is responsible for completing program intakes, conducting initial assessments, developing stabilization plans, and providing housing search education and support. Through workshops, one-on-one assistance, and resource coordination, the Stabilization Specialist helps participants navigate housing systems and identify opportunities that support long-term housing stability. Because this role is funded through state contracts, responsibilities may shift over time based on evolving program needs. Flexibility, adaptability, and a commitment to responsive service are key to success in this position.
