About The Position

We are seeking a Sr. Work Control Planner to join our team supporting the Los Alamos National Laboratory ! This position is full-time and will be based out of Los Alamos, New Mexico. GEM Technologies, Inc. Requirements

Education & Years of Experience – Bachelor’s Degree and 12+ years of relevant experience; additional, relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Citizenship – To be considered, you must be a United States (U.S.) citizen due to the federal nature of the work.
Clearance – To be considered, you must be able to obtain and maintain a government issued clearance, if needed.

Responsibilities

Develop and review detailed work packages including time, material, and labor estimates.
Prepare step-by-step work instructions, procedures, and safety/testing requirements for operational, maintenance, or modification activities.
Plan and coordinate tasks related to mechanical, electrical, chemical, and/or radiological equipment.
Ensure all work packages comply with regulatory, safety, and quality standards.
Identify and resolve work restraints or obstacles to enable smooth task execution.
Review completed work packages and ensure proper documentation for final closure.
Collaborate with operations, maintenance, engineering, and safety teams for effective work execution.
Recommend improvements to work package processes, procedures, and documentation to enhance efficiency and safety.
