About The Position

We are seeking a Sr. Work Control Planner to join our team supporting the Los Alamos National Laboratory ! This position is full-time and will be based out of Los Alamos, New Mexico. Requirements

  • Education & Years of Experience – Bachelor’s Degree and 12+ years of relevant experience; additional, relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Citizenship – To be considered, you must be a United States (U.S.) citizen due to the federal nature of the work.
  • Clearance – To be considered, you must be able to obtain and maintain a government issued clearance, if needed.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and review detailed work packages including time, material, and labor estimates.
  • Prepare step-by-step work instructions, procedures, and safety/testing requirements for operational, maintenance, or modification activities.
  • Plan and coordinate tasks related to mechanical, electrical, chemical, and/or radiological equipment.
  • Ensure all work packages comply with regulatory, safety, and quality standards.
  • Identify and resolve work restraints or obstacles to enable smooth task execution.
  • Review completed work packages and ensure proper documentation for final closure.
  • Collaborate with operations, maintenance, engineering, and safety teams for effective work execution.
  • Recommend improvements to work package processes, procedures, and documentation to enhance efficiency and safety.
