About The Position
Raye IT Consulting, LLC is a 8a certified minority woman-owned IT consulting and technology firm. Raye IT brings over 20 years experience in delivering mission-critical programs and support for the Federal Government and large agencies. We specialize in program and project management, capital planning and IT investment portfolio management, infrastructure support and application development deployment to include IT operations and maintenance. Raye IT is seeking a talented Senior Website Designer / Project Manager to support the agency's Office of Legislative & Public Affairs (OLPA). This role blends high‑level web design, accessibility leadership, and hands‑on CMS support across NSF’s digital platforms.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of Drupal CMS experience, including Layout Builder.
- Degree in related field or comparable hands-on experience
- Strong skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Adobe Creative Cloud.
- Knowledge of USWDS and Section 508 requirements.
- Experience with ServiceNow or other enterprise ticketing systems.
- Ability to collaborate with stakeholders and lead small project teams.
Nice To Haves
- Federal agency web experience (preferred)
- Experience with SEO and performance optimization strategies. (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Design and publish content within Drupal CMS, ServiceNow Employee Center, and SharePoint.
- Create accessible, user centered webpage layouts compliant with WCAG 2.0/Section 508 and US Web Design System (USWDS).
- Format and upload images, PDFs, and other assets for optimal web display.
- Manage and respond to staff support requests through NSF’s web ticketing system (ServiceNow & MS Lists).
- Provide guidance on SEO, web layout best practices, audience accessibility, and brand consistency.
- Lead small development/design initiatives and collaborate with cross functional teams.
