About The Position

CONTINGENT HIRE NOTICE: This position is a contingent hire. Employment is contingent upon EDJ Associates, Inc. receiving a contract/task order award from the National Science Foundation (NSF). This position is performed primarily on-site at NSF headquarters in Alexandria, Virginia. Applicants must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance. The Website Designer supports the NSF Web Team by designing and maintaining accessible, user-centered webpages and digital content using NSF-approved platforms and federal web standards. EDJ Associates, Inc. is a Woman-Owned Small Business (WOSB) providing trusted digital, design, and communications support services to federal agencies. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent professional experience acceptable.
  • At least three (3) years of experience working within a Drupal environment.
  • Experience using Adobe Creative Cloud to optimize images for the web.
  • Knowledge of HTML and web accessibility standards.
  • Experience using ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Design and publish webpages using Drupal CMS, ServiceNow Employee Center, and SharePoint.
  • Create clear webpage layouts aligned with web best practices and plain language requirements.
  • Format and upload PDFs, images, and other digital assets.
  • Respond to and track web requests using NSF ticketing systems.
  • Ensure all web content complies with Section 508 and WCAG requirements.
