About The Position

The Senior User Experience (UX) Analyst plays a critical role in supporting the overall product vision and driving key product design decisions. As a member of the Product Management Team, this position works closely with Product and Design leadership, Product Owners, Business Analysts, Development Engineers, Subject Matter Experts, other UX Analysts, SCRUM teams, as well as other departments throughout the organization. The Senior UX Analyst works with the Senior UX Manager to define the vision of the end-to-end product design and user experience. They perform design analysis and are responsible for creating comprehensive documentation and complex prototypes that define the optimal user workflow and follow defined user stories. The resulting work product serves as the blueprint for Developers in creating world-class software and as testing definitions for Quality Assurance Engineers. This position takes a lead role in establishing and governing the standards and documentation that define the visual language, patterns of interaction, and quality specifications that ensure continuity in design and user experiences across products and form factors. This position leads the conceptualization and design of user interactions, including motion and sound design, from inception to completion, as well as legacy product revision, creating unique and innovative software solutions. The Senior UX Analyst strives to maintain a complete understanding of product users and serve as their advocate. They lead perform ongoing customer research, analyze various data sources, review and categorize in-product feedback, and most importantly conduct user tests. They utilize this understanding in formulating all product decisions and to ensure designs are user-centered throughout product lifecycle. The Senior UX Analyst is responsible for ensuring all projects are following the process of discovery, design, testing, and iteration. They also ensure every product design meets user goals, ensures an excellent user experience, and is highly intuitive. The Senior UX Analyst serves as a lead and mentor. It is the highest-level, non-management position on the UI/UX team and reports to the Senior UX Manager.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) in UX, Graphic Design, Human Computer Interaction, Behavioral Science, and/or Computer Science or Equivalent Work Experience
  • Five Plus years of experience with Interaction, Visual, Web, and / or Product Design for customer facing products and applications
  • 1-2 years experience running complex user tests, analyzing results, and formulating product recommendations based on resulting insights
  • Past experience creating a comprehensive design systems
  • Professional experience working with the Figma design system and/or Figma-make
  • Experience working in Agile Frameworks –preferred
  • Certifications in UX, UXD, iXD, HCI, or Visual Design - not required but preferred

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a lead and mentor to the UI/UX team and contribute to its ongoing success.
  • Help design leadership in crafting the vision of the end-to-end user experience.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for user experience and design across all internally and externally facing products, platforms, and form factors.
  • Perform analysis, documentation and development of optimal user workflows, translate them into efficient user journeys, and create professionally designed product screens.
  • Ensure all resulting work product is efficient, accomplishes user goals, and satisfies requirements and/or acceptance criteria defined in user stories.
  • Help design leadership in establishing and maintaining a standard approach to design documentation. Create all documentation necessary to convey the end-to-end user experience. including, but is not limited to personas, IA maps, content inventories, user journeys, diagrams, low and high-fidelity wire frames/wire flows, specifications, interactive prototypes, as well as other testable media.
  • Help review other UX Analysts’ work and provide feedback and guidance on workflows and design.
  • Lead efforts on conceptualization and design of user interactions, including motion and sound design.
  • Lead ongoing customer and product research projects, including interviews and on-site visits in order to fully grasp the needs of users first-hand and document online / offline user tasks.
  • Create testing plans and scripts, conduct and moderate on-site or remote testing using wireframes, prototypes, and functional software, then document findings.
  • Perform analysis of test results and provide written recommendation for usability improvements and enhancements to product design and workflows.
  • Serve as an end-user advocate; drive user needs and goals into both creative and pragmatic product design solutions.
  • Develop, iterate, and govern standardized UI patterns and Design Elements to promote efficiency and continuity across the products and enterprise.
  • Lead the creation and maintenance of a standardized design components that provides continuity across products and serves as a foundation for an overall design system.
  • Create product-related graphics and Illustrations such as icons and other visual elements needed to deliver products that adhere to established standards for professionalism, aesthetics, and quality.
  • Regularly attend Agile ceremonies and serve as the Subject Matter expert for user experience and design on SCRUM teams as assigned. Complete work within defined sprint cycles. Utilize online resources, such as JIRA and Confluence to track and report the status for assigned work. Contribute to sprint demos and demonstrate work completed.
  • Strong leadership, analytical thinking, documentation, communication, time‑management, and multi‑tasking skills
  • Ability to analyze user needs and translate insights into user flows, journey maps, requirements, and UX documentation
  • Expertise in Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, XD), Axure, or similar tools for wireframing and prototyping
  • Experience leveraging AI to enhance efficiency in UX workflows (research, prototyping, content generation, or documentation)
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with product, engineering, and QA teams
