Our Newest Opportunity: We are seeking a Senior Unified Communications (UC) Engineer to design, support, and optimize enterprise voice and video collaboration platforms. This role is responsible for maintaining highly available, secure, and scalable UC systems across the organization. The ideal candidate is technically strong, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, enterprise environment. This is a hands-on engineering role requiring deep knowledge of voice infrastructure, video collaboration systems, and cloud-based communication platforms.

Requirements

  • 5–7 years of experience in Unified Communications engineering
  • Strong experience with Cisco Call Manager (CUCM) and Five9 Contact Center
  • Hands-on experience with Dialpad and Zoom administration
  • Solid understanding of SIP, RTP, VoIP protocols, and call flow troubleshooting
  • Experience with voice gateway configuration and SBC concepts
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across voice and video environments
  • Experience working in hybrid cloud / enterprise environments
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a structured and process-driven environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with contact center platforms
  • Knowledge of QoS design and implementation
  • Familiarity with firewall policies impacting RTP/SIP traffic
  • Experience supporting hybrid cloud collaboration environments
  • Experience with dialplan and call routing solutions

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and support enterprise voice and video systems
  • Administer and maintain Cisco Call Manager (CUCM), Dialpad, and Zoom platforms
  • Troubleshoot complex voice, SIP, and video issues across LAN/WAN environments
  • Configure call routing, dial plans, SIP trunks, and integration with third-party systems
  • Support conference room and collaboration technology solutions
  • Monitor system performance, capacity, and reliability
  • Partner with network and security teams to ensure QoS and secure communication paths
  • Actively work tickets and user supports issues as needed
  • Participate in change management and production support processes
  • Provide documentation, standard operating procedures, and technical diagrams
  • Support M&A integration efforts related to voice and collaboration systems
