About The Position

Baird Trust Operations, within Baird’s Private Wealth Management division, is seeking a Senior Trust Operations Technology Analyst to support and enhance Baird Trust’s technology solutions while driving process improvements across the organization. This role partners closely with Trust Operations leadership, technology teams, and internal stakeholders to initiate, guide, and execute project initiatives aligned to the Trust roadmap. The position blends strategic thinking with hands-on execution and plays a key role in innovation, day-to-day operations, and continuous improvement efforts within Baird Trust.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience delivering measurable business results
  • Experience across multiple functions, preferably within financial services or a financial services regulatory environment
  • Strong knowledge of client service models, policies, and procedures
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and influencing skills with the ability to build trusted partnerships
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and make sound decisions with incomplete information
  • Clear and credible communication skills for engaging both internal and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrated success as a relationship builder who collaborates effectively across teams and leadership levels
  • Change-oriented mindset with the ability to lead through influence rather than authority
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Teams
  • Strong planning and organizational skills, including the ability to lead through indirect management
  • High level of drive, resilience, enthusiasm, and commitment to continuous improvement

Responsibilities

  • Initiate and guide Trust-focused projects in partnership with the Trust Technology Lead, supporting innovation and operational excellence
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, milestones, and delivery approach while facilitating planning, touchpoint, and retrospective meetings
  • Support client issue resolution by coordinating handoffs to subject matter experts and ensuring timely, high-quality outcomes
  • Manage, document, analyze, and report on client transactions and related processes to inform future enhancements
  • Apply project methodologies to plan, organize, and monitor initiatives, providing clear updates on timelines, risks, and obstacles
  • Deliver strategic project guidance and technical expertise to drive execution of key Trust initiatives aligned to business success metrics
  • Partner with internal and external vendors to resolve issues and support implementation of Trust technology solutions
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness across Trust Operations
  • Develop and implement procedures to monitor productivity, quality, and operational efficiency
  • Maintain strong awareness of internal partner needs and proactively share insights and updates with the Trust Operations team
  • Partner closely with Trust Operations and Trust leadership as a collaborative and trusted team member
  • Support adherence to regulatory and fiduciary requirements in partnership with Trust Operations leadership
  • Apply process improvement methodologies, including Six Sigma and DMAIC, to map processes, prototype solutions, and drive continuous improvement
