About The Position

We are seeking a Senior Training Manager. This position is responsible for providing leadership and subject matter expertise in the development of strategic solutions and implementation of client programs. This individual will have focus on automotive products and retail operations and will provide direction and guidance to the team on leading practices, strategies, quality and measurable business results. This is a hybrid position in Michigan, requiring 3 or more days onsite at the client location, with the flexibility to work remotely on other days. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Adult Education, Human Performance, Instructional Systems Design (ISD)
  • 7-10 years’ experience in the training/education field and knowledge of adult learning theory and human performance improvement processes
  • Experience leading product training development; in-depth automotive product experience preferred as well as familiarity with automotive retail processes
  • Strong knowledge of adult learning theory, human performance technology concepts, instructional techniques and performance improvement processes
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with internal clients to meet business objectives
  • Proficiency with Articulate 360 suite (Storyline, Rise, Review)
  • Working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, and After Effects
  • Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and SCORM/xAPI standards
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex information into clear, concise statements for varied audiences
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
  • Experience and success interfacing directly with the client without supervision
  • On-site at a minimum of 3 days per week

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for providing Human Performance Improvement consultation for an automotive client account
  • Apply adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies (e.g., ADDIE, SAM) to ensure training is engaging and effective.
  • Develop and write program deliverables (primarily product training) to meet internal and external client objectives
  • Assist in creating interactive eLearning modules, videos, simulations, and performance support tools for technical and non-technical audiences for product training
  • Develop and publish digital training content using Articulate Rise, or other similar programs
  • Create and edit graphics, animations, and video content using the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, etc.)
  • Partner with subject matter experts (SMEs), engineers, content team members and business owners to gather content and validate accuracy
  • Review and test learning products to ensure usability, functionality, and brand consistency
  • Assist in uploading, tracking, and maintaining learning content within the LMS.
  • Work closely with Account and Training Director to position One10 as a valued strategic partner, developing/sustaining strong relationships with key clients
  • Identify and understand key business issues and objectives of new and existing One10 clients and provide SME consultancy for the creation of value-add solutions
  • Understand the contractual relationship with existing clients and the impact on the business
  • Ensure practices adhere to the One10 processes for consistent, efficient delivery with emphasis on continual improvement
  • Provide leadership by example, creating an environment of openness and trust
  • Build internal and external comprehension of subject matter expertise
  • Provide input for proposal responses and scope of work documents
