About The Position

The role is for a highly motivated technology procurement professional with a focus on strategic sourcing, negotiation, and procurement execution. The Senior Technology Buyer is accountable for the end-to-end sourcing and contracting process, particularly for enterprise software, SaaS, and cloud services. Key Responsibilities: The primary duties center on developing and executing global sourcing strategies to achieve business objectives and to drive value for the business: Sourcing and Strategy: Proactively identifying, developing, and executing sourcing opportunities to drive cost savings, reduce risk, and improve business outcomes. Negotiation: Leading negotiations for new, potential, and incumbent suppliers, covering pricing, commercial terms, and legal terms (in collaboration with the legal team). Stakeholder Management: Building trusted relationships with senior leadership and internal partners to understand strategic business direction and priorities. Analysis and Management: Evaluating supplier core competencies using industry cost models, managing sourcing activities (RFx, spend analysis, contract analysis), and preparing business reviews with key stakeholders. Supplier Relationship Management: Managing critical supplier relationships, developing performance-based reviews, monitoring supplier performance, and leading the resolution of disputes. Procurement Execution: managing procurement transactions, data and reporting. On-going coordination of end-to-end procurement activities across the business. Software Procurement Skills Requirements: The required skills are centered around procurement expertise, analytical ability, and execution skills: Software Procurement/Contracting Expertise: Strong understanding of technology procurement, complex suppliers, contracting principles, and the ability to execute contract templates. Experience managing contracts with major software providers for cyber security and enterprise applications preferred. Technical/Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and business application skills, and strong knowledge of procurement applications (preferably Workday). Sourcing Initiative Management and Soft Skills: Excellent communication, strong organizational and time management skills. The ability to close complex deals in a timely fashion is also required. The pay range for this role is $78,900-$131,500. Actual salary offered will be dependent on a wide array of factors including but not limited to: relevant experience, skills, education and comparison to internal employees (where relevant). Requirements
