About The Position

As a Sr. Technical Security, you will support SNC's risk-focused security program in the protection of company and customer information, people, and assets. You will facilitate business and mission success through security customer service and efficient administrative security processes. You will assist in the development and implementation of security practices to maintain compliance with security regulations, and participate in security compliance assessments. As a Sr Technical Security Specialist, you will be responsible for lifecycle management of all physical security systems, including access control, CCTV, and alarms. You will coordinate with internal resources and external vendors for design and procurement of new systems and modification or disestablishment of existing systems. You will ensure these systems remain current and operational, and coordinate with vendors for repair when needed. You will also explore and evaluate emerging technology and solutions, and available enhancements/integrations for existing systems. Travel to support system design, installation, or troubleshooting may be required (<25%). As SNC's corporate team, we provide the company and its business areas with strategic direction and business support spanning executive management, finance and accounting, operations, human resources, legal, IT, information security, facilities, marketing, and communications.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • 6+ years of experience in security, military, or administrative fields
  • Higher education in a related field may substitute for up to 2 years of relevant experience
  • Strong verbal and electronic communication skills
  • Thorough understanding of security regulations and best practices
  • Knowledge of 32 CFR 117: National Industrial Security Program (NISPOM)
  • Experience installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting physical security systems
  • Previous employment with a technical solutions/physical security integrator
  • Experience managing projects
  • Subject Matter Expert in installation and configuration of CCure Access Control or Avigilon CCTV
  • U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance for employment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with access control/visit control/badge management systems and software
  • Familiarity with Intelligence Community Directives (ICD) regulations
  • Security-related certifications
  • Experience with installation and troubleshooting of DMP alarm systems
  • Installer or contractor certification for Softwarehouse CCure

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Corporate Real Estate Project teams to address site security needs.
  • Project Management duties include: Estimating and tracking project budgets. Designing system layouts and creating drawings. Obtaining quotes and managing security contractors. Ensuring project timelines are met and tracking invoicing. Funding and monitoring project progress.
  • Troubleshoot security system issues and coordinate with local offices for resolution.
  • Schedule service calls for security contractors and support technicians.
  • Support local security officers with system maintenance and updates.
  • Ensure security systems' software/firmware remains updated.
