For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week. Primary Responsibilities: Lead the planning, execution, and closure of security projects, ensuring alignment with client requirements and business objectives Act as the primary point of contact for clients-providing updates, gathering requirements, and presenting project plans and status reports Coordinate and manage cross-functional project teams, including internal technical staff and external contractors Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, budgets, and risk assessments Implement and oversee security frameworks such as NIST, STIGs, RMF, and FedRAMP, HITRUST CSF, SOC2, ISO within project scopes Use project management tools to monitor performance, track milestones, and ensure timely, cost-effective delivery Conduct regular risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies throughout the project lifecycle Foster a collaborative team environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement Stay current with developments in IT security and integrate best practices and tools (e.g., Nessus) into project workflows You’ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.

Requirements

1 or more of the following Certifications: PMP, CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security
5+ years of Project Management (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid) experience
5+ years of experience in at least one or more of the following IT Security Frameworks: NIST, STIGs, RMF, FedRAMP, HITRUST CSF, SOC2, ISO
Experience with Risk Management & Mitigation
Experience with Client Communication & Stakeholder Engagement
Experience with at least two or more of the following Project Management Software platforms: Visio, Office Apps, JIRA, MS Project, Trello
Experience with Documentation & Reporting
Must be willing/able to work Eastern Time Zone business hours regardless of remote base location

Nice To Haves

Experience with Vulnerability Assessment Tools (e.g., Nessus)
Experience with Team Leadership & Collaboration
