About The Position

The Global Operations Technology Solutions (OTS) Deployment organization manages complex projects and strategic initiatives that span business teams and operations groups within Amazon Fulfillment IT. Our projects power the physical fulfillment of customer orders, including site launches and post-launch programs globally, directly supporting package delivery to millions of Amazon.com customers worldwide. As a Sr. Tech Infra Program Manager, you will lead complex cross-functional infrastructure programs with significant business impact. You'll define strategy, drive delivery across teams, and own organizational roadmaps and goals. This role demands deep technical expertise to evaluate proposals, ensure scalable solutions, and make data-driven decisions using metrics. You will collaborate with diverse stakeholders to deliver lifecycle and customer-initiated non-launch programs, meeting scope, budget, and timeline requirements. Projects span multiple geographic locations, requiring strong communication skills to coordinate onsite and remote work with global teams. You'll partner with IT management to develop technology products, service standards, and operational enablement efforts. A Senior Infrastructure Technology Program Manager starts the day reviewing metrics dashboards to identify risks and blockers, then attends engineering stand-ups across time zones and reviews technical designs for scalability. Mid-day involves leading cross-functional meetings to drive consensus on technical decisions, drafting 6-pager narratives for leadership reviews, and reprioritizing roadmaps with engineering managers. Afternoons include conducting risk assessments for deployments, mentoring junior program managers, reviewing OP1/OP2 planning materials, and resolving escalations diplomatically. The day concludes with updating program documentation, communicating status to directors and VPs, and preparing for technical deep-dives on scaling challenges. The AMER OTS-D ECD (Engineering and Customer Deployment) Team executes post-launch technical infrastructure and end-user compute programs for Amazon Fulfillment, Transportation, and Logistics sites across the AMER region. The team leverages OTS-Field IT resources, third-party labor (3PL), and low-voltage contractors (LVCs) for onsite tasks, specializing in Engineering Infrastructure Enhancement, Lifecycle & Customer Deployment, and Operational Excellence solutions. Technical Infrastructure Program Managers (TIPMs) with extensive experience work closely with stakeholders including OTS Field IT, OIS, OTS-D Planning/CGS, and Customer PoCs to deliver lifecycle and customer-initiated non-launch programs within scope, budget, and timeline, while managing risks, capturing lessons learned, and updating project management tools
