Sr Systems Engineer - Material Handling Systems
About The Position
Based near Disneyland, we are an Engineering consultant in Orange County who specialize in providing some of the most intelligent material handling solutions on the market! We improve profitability as well as sustainability for all of our customer's supply chain, and we are currently experiencing a ton of growth, and we need a very skilled Mechanical Systems Engineer with Material Handling system experience to join our team immediately and ensure our growth continues! This position is responsible for developing systems and solutions in the material handling industry for distribution. This person will work on cross functional teams to ensure projects are delivered to complete customer satisfaction, on time, and of course within budget.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
- Previous distribution center design experience or material handling solutions experience, at least 2 years REQUIRED
- Strong understanding of Material Handling Technologies
- A strong communicator with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and 3D knowledge strongly preferred
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Intelligrated or Hytrol equipment is strongly preferred, but not required
- Previous experience with Robotics and PLCs a major plus, but not a requirement
