About The Position

We are looking for a Material Handling Clerk to join our team in Loveland, CO. The anticipated closing date for this position is 12/31/25 and applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis. Function: The Material Handling Clerk receives, stores, and distributes materials, tools, equipment, and products within the shop.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a material handling, warehouse, or logistics role.
  • 1+ years of experience operating a forklift, with a valid certification preferred.
  • 1+ years of experience operating a bridge crane.
  • Ability to read and interpret work orders, packing lists, and other documents.
  • Experience with inventory management systems and basic computer skills.
  • Detail-oriented and efficient in work habits.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in writing and verbally with team members, customers and vendors.
  • This role requires routine access to restricted information, including but not limited to Export Controlled Information (ECI), Unclassified Controlled Nuclear Information (UCNI), Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), Department of Energy Official Use Only (DOE OUO); and/or ITAR-controlled technical data. As required by applicable federal laws and regulations, candidates must be U.S. citizens or lawful permanent residents and all offers of employment will be contingent on satisfying applicable licensing, training, and other requirements. Responsibilities

  • Receive and Inspect: Unload trucks, inspect incoming materials for damage, and verify quantities against purchase orders.
  • Inventory Management: Accurately count and document incoming and outgoing materials, and maintain organized inventory records.
  • Storage and Organization: Store materials in designated locations, ensuring proper labeling and accessibility.
  • Distribution: Pull materials and parts from inventory to fill orders and deliver them to the appropriate fabrication stations or delegated recipient.
  • Shipping Preparation: Prepare and package materials for shipping, including creating shipping labels and documentation.
  • Equipment Operation: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to move items within the facility.
  • Maintenance: Perform regular checks and basic maintenance on material handling equipment to ensure they are in good working order.
  • Communication: Coordinate with production, quality, and shipping teams to ensure a smooth flow of materials.
  • Cleanliness: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse and shop floor.
