The Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) program is looking for its next enthusiastic and motivated Systems Engineer. This individual will work in a dynamic team environment integrating and maintaining the THAAD system integration laboratory. THAAD is a cutting-edge missile defense system that protects our nation and its allies from ballistic missile threats. A successful candidate must be able to interact well with peers, leadership, and cross-functional teams. They must also possess the ability to support technical discussions.

Requirements

Experience working in a Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL), development, or lab environment
Windows and/or Unix/Linux proficiency
Familiarity with networking and system administration
This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with the missile defense sector.
Familiarity with working in a classified environment.
Ability to work cross-functionally with test, software, and systems engineering organizations.
Familiarity with Jira and Agile
Obtaining Security + within first year
Experience in real-time simulation operation
Experience with updating/developing drawings and procedures
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
Ability to understand complex systems, the ability to work by yourself to perform research necessary to solve system level issues

Responsibilities

Diagnose and troubleshoot lab issues, support Failure Review Boards
Work cross-functionally to integrate and proof new system capabilities
Operate THAAD Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL) testbeds
Develop necessary documentation to support lab operations (procedures, configuration docs, drawings, etc.)
