Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
  • 10 7+years applicable experience with 5 years of Aerospace or Avionics, including strong experience in Embedded Software design, development, and integration.
  • Experience with programming languages and tools such as C/C++, Python, Java, NI-LabView, LabWindows CVI, MATLAB, VBA, Git, Bitbucket, DOORS, JIRA, and Microsoft Visual Studio
  • U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENT: Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, asylum or refugee status in the U.S, or have the ability to obtain an export authorization.

  • Familiarity with Do-160, 178, 254
  • Knowledge of communication protocols including ARINC 429, ARINC 422, CAN, SPI, I2C, ASCB, and A818, along with experience in System Architecture Modeling and Input Output Configuration (SAMIOC/HARMONIC).
  • Project/Program Management for 15+members team and multiple project
  • Advanced knowledge of the systems development lifecycle.
  • Individuals who can quickly analyze, incorporate, and apply new information and concepts.
  • Experience leading diverse and global teams.
  • Expertise in systems engineering principles and practices.
  • Self-motivated individuals who can work with minimal supervision and consistently take the initiative to get things done.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough requirements analysis and decomposition to ensure clarity and feasibility of system specifications.
  • Design comprehensive system architectures that meet both functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Implement model-based development methodologies to enhance system design efficiency and accuracy.
  • Oversee systems integration, validation, and verification processes to ensure product reliability and compliance with industry standards.
  • Engage with customers to gather feedback, clarify requirements, and ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Provide project oversight and coordination, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints.
  • Provide strategic direction for systems engineering activities, aligning them with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Drive innovation and guide the development of advanced systems, leveraging cutting-edge technologies.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of systems engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
  • Regularly evaluate and provide constructive feedback to team members to promote professional growth.
  • Identify and mitigate risks proactively, making data-driven decisions to keep projects on track.
  • Champion best practices in systems engineering and integration, ensuring adherence to industry standards.
  • Collaborate with technical experts and thought leaders to drive technological advancements and enhance product offerings.
  • Present complex technical information clearly and effectively to diverse audiences, ensuring comprehension and engagement.
  • Onsite work up to 90% of the time.
