Requirements
- Over 10 years of experience in systems/network administration on Windows Server platforms.
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft operating systems, the MS Office Suite, and intermediate knowledge of network design.
- Strong experience with Linux, Windows, WAN/LAN, Exchange, Office365, Active Directory, VOIP, and Cloud Infrastructure (AWS or Azure).
- Proven ability to think outside the box and solve complex problems.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and design of systems infrastructure, monitor performance, and suggest improvements.
- Set up, configure, and maintain IT systems, including SANs, servers, firewalls, hypervisors, and data protection appliances.
- Provide leadership and guidance to other administrators and engineers, ensuring that IT systems are operating at peak efficiency.
- Manage the provisioning of new servers, maintain internal IT documentation, and assist in creating a technical knowledge base.
- Troubleshoot and resolve common IT issues, support backup infrastructure, and contribute to continuous system improvements.
- Report on network and IT service performance, maintain technical knowledge through training, and provide emergency on-call support on a rotating schedule.
