Requirements

  • Advanced degree (Master's or PhD preferred) in Nutrition Science, Food Science, Regulatory Affairs, or a closely related field.
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in the B2B food, beverage, or ingredients industry, with deep expertise in nutrition science and regulatory compliance.
  • Proven track record in navigating global nutrition regulations and substantiating health & wellness claims.
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate sustainability strategies with nutrition and regulatory initiatives.
  • Strong capability to influence senior decision-makers and communicate complex scientific concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Global mindset with experience working across multiple regions, particularly North America and Europe.
  • Exceptional skills in scientific storytelling, strategic communication, and executive engagement.
  • Strong leadership and project management experience, including mentoring or leading teams.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary subject matter expert on nutrition science and regulatory affairs for global key accounts.
  • Monitor, interpret, and translate emerging global nutrition policies, regulations, and health trends into actionable insights for Kerry and its customers.
  • Partner with Regulatory and R&D teams to ensure proactive compliance and leverage regulatory changes to drive new business opportunities.
  • Lead customer discussions on nutrition and regulatory issues, including audits, site visits, reformulation initiatives, and technical reviews.
  • Integrate sustainability principles into nutrition and regulatory strategies to deliver holistic solutions for customers.
  • Identify opportunities for responsible sourcing, emissions reduction, sustainable packaging, and nutrition-forward product innovation.
  • Align with Kerry's sustainability leadership to ensure consistent messaging and execution of the sustainable nutrition strategy across global markets.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior-level external stakeholders in nutrition, regulatory, and sustainability roles.
  • Represent Kerry's sustainable nutrition strategy in customer forums, workshops, and C-suite engagements.
  • Collaborate with account marketing leads to develop tailored strategies, presentations, and engagement materials that align with customer priorities.
  • Work closely with Sales, RD&A, Marketing, Regulatory, and Communications teams to deliver compelling, science-based value propositions.
  • Provide training and thought leadership to internal account teams, equipping them to position Kerry's nutrition and sustainability expertise effectively.
  • Coordinate with regional teams in APMEA, LATAM, and Europe to ensure alignment and consistent execution.
