About The Position

Sain Associates has an opening in Birmingham, AL or in Huntsville, AL for a Sr. Survey Technician. In this role, you will be working as a 1-person crew collecting data and stake properties. For land surveying, accuracy is crucial, so this job is ideal for someone who enjoys technical tasks and learning how to use specialized Survey equipment like the total station, GPS, drone, and data collectors. Work sites vary from undeveloped property to active construction sites.

Requirements

At least 2 years working in a survey crew where you collected topographic surveys and boundary surveys.
Ability to work outdoors daily (Heat, cold, insects, and thick vegetation).
Ability to move through rough terrain while carrying 60 lbs. and clearing line.
Ability to work in this safety sensitive job.
Ability to work well with other crew members.
Ability to be on time.
Valid Driver's License.
Ability to travel-we have multiple projects coming up that require to be out of town Monday-Thursday. A per diem will be provided.
