As a Cataract Surgical Consultant works collaboratively alongside a Division Manager within a singular division to strategically drive Alcon’s advanced technologies with keen focus on LenSx, ORA, Argos, Revalia, and ATIOLs to new and existing accounts. With the introduction of Argos and our Digital Health Suite; Surgical Consultants are involved with building the Cataract Refractive Mangers proficiency and confidence when selling capital equipment and assisting in closing capital equipment leads in Texas!

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +13 yrs; Assoc.+9 yrs; M.S.+2 yrs)
  • The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English
  • 5 Years of Proven Experience
  • Travel Requirements: 30%

Responsibilities

  • Lead targeting and forecasting efforts for LenSx, ORA, Argos, Revalia, ATIOLs and The Digital Health Suite sales within their assigned division and drive all appropriate divisional assets towards sales success in these areas.
  • Target and work towards converting large volume competitive accounts within the division partnering with all relevant divisional assets to do so.
  • Work with division members to make certain large volume accounts that have invested in our advanced technologies are thriving and growing in their use of our technologies.
  • Work as a liaison with the Clinical Application Specialist to both internal and external customers.
  • Be technically, financially, and strategically proficient in advanced technology equipment sales.
  • Be fully capable of working with commercial, technical, clinical apps, training and finance personnel to ensure long term success of our advanced technologies.
  • Report to their respective Regional Director and will work collaboratively with their Division Manager partner.
