About The Position

This position is responsible for managing the supply plan (inventory, distribution and production) by balancing production, inventory, and customer service targets for Generous Brands organization. This position will develop, manage and execute inventory plans that balance operational cost and working capital while meeting or exceeding customer service targets. Critical to this role is the ability to work with cross functional team members to drive resolution across service, production, and inventory issues.

Strong organizational and time management skills including the ability to manage multiple projects and changing priorities
Strong group facilitation skills and the ability to drive others toward action and decisions
Self-motivated individual who is able to work in fast-paced, changing, team environment
Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience
5 years of related experience in project management or comparable analytical role
Highly skilled in Microsoft Office suite applications including strong excel skills and the ability to learn and apply new concept/tools

Responsibilities

Responsible for balancing production plans within supply capabilities/capacity constraints
Resolve supply conflicts such as inventory overages or shortages by engaging production schedulers, customer service, transportation, and other cross functional team members.
Proactively identify issues, highlight risk, and partner with cross functional team members to develop recommendations and contingency plans for potential service interruptions.
Manage inventory levels in line with budget and achieving target fill rates including monitoring and minimizing SMOG
Establish key performance indicator tracking, analyzing, and reporting. KPI such as fill rates, days of coverage, attainment, and plan compliance and customer scorecards.
Monitor multiple outside storage locations to ensure proper inventory levels are maintained, including safety stock to meet customer service targets
Analyzes data and maintain reports, insuring reliable, accurate, and meaningful information is communicated to cross functional and leadership teams as needed to ensure optimal supply chain execution.
Partner with Product and Project managers to lead supply planning for new product launches, transitions, special orders, promotions and discontinuations
Lead weekly meeting with plants, customer service, product development and sales team
Work with the peers and Supply Planning Center of Excellence to identify, and implement process improvements
