About The Position

The Senior Supplier Performance Specialist is responsible for ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of our supplier relationships. This role involves higher level of responsibility and leadership in managing supplier performance, addressing issues, and implementing improvement plans. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree is preferred in business management, business administration or any related field
3-4 years of experience in supply chain management or a related role, preferably in the aerospace industry
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and supply chain management software
Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities
Self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility and accountability
U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (Green Card holder) or asylee/refugee status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) required.
ITAR requirement 120.15. Some positions will require current U.S. Citizenship due to contract requirements.
This position requires access to information that is subject to compliance with the International Traffic Arms Regulations (“ITAR”) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (“EAR”). In order to comply with the requirements of the ITAR and/or the EAR, applicants will be asked to provide specific documentation to verify U.S. person status under the ITAR and the EAR. Responsibilities

Upload and review responses from suppliers regarding part delivery status
Review data for deficiencies or errors and correct any discrepancies
Enter quotes from suppliers and inter-company as needed
Address suppliers slow to respond and/or non-responsive
Expedite specific urgent items as required
Deliver Performance Improvement Plans (PIP) for chronically late suppliers
Maintain improvement efforts with suppliers on poor delivery performance, utilizing root cause corrective action methodologies
Schedule appointments and office meetings as assigned
Identifies, establishes and maintains order priorities for deliveries with suppliers on focused delivery recovery efforts
Expedite parts on-site at suppliers utilizing lean manufacturing, work prioritization principles as required
Communicate delivery improvement plan actions with Sales and Purchasing leadership teams
Coordinate multiple and changing priorities daily
Take responsibility for own work and provide support to others
Perform other duties as assigned
