Requirements

  • Must have a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field of study (willing to accept foreign educational equivalent) and 2 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation engineering processes for semiconductor device fabrication.
  • Must also possess the following (quantitative experience requirements not applicable to this section): Demonstrated Expertise ("DE") developing and troubleshooting processes in CVD module of semiconductor wafer fab on Producer S XS PE SILANE, PE TEOS, or SACVD Twin processes.
  • DE developing and conducting statistical analysis including Design of Experiments (DOE) and Statistical Process Control (SPC) targeting physical cause of failure for yield loss and improving quality.
  • DE coordinating and directing Nanotechnology Engineering Technologists and Technicians in CVD, Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD), Diffusion, and Ion Implantation modules of semiconductor wafer fab.
  • DE in capital project management of diverse teams in semiconductor environment, to include finance, facilities, quality, integration, process, and production.
  • DE with cycle time analysis improving efficiency and productivity in semiconductor environment.
  • DE with fault detection and classification software for real-time monitoring of equipment performance in semiconductor environment.

Responsibilities

  • Recommend and implement equipment and process modifications to improve production efficiencies, manufacturing techniques, and production yields for existing products.
  • Interact with product design and development personnel to ensure that processes and designs are compatible.
  • Compile and evaluate test data to determine appropriate limits for process and material specifications.
  • Drive best in class quality, productivity, throughput, environmental performance, process robustness, cost, and manufacturability within own organization.
  • Apply understanding of statistical process control (SPC) and engineering statistics.
  • Contribute to the development and effective communication of project proposals, staffing, and budgeting forecasts within own organization.
  • Safe processing of wafers in a cleanroom environment.
