The Supply Chain function is essential to Tropicana Brand Group’s success by enhancing operational efficiency, reducing costs, and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality products. By improving warehouse operations, optimizing transportation routes, and refining inventory management practices, the team plays a critical role in streamlining processes. Collaborating with other departments to align strategies, the Supply Chain team ensures that Tropicana meets customer demands while maintaining a high standard of performance and cost-effectiveness. Through their efforts, they contribute to both short-term achievements and long-term growth. Your Next Pour: The Opportunity Tropicana Brands Group is seeking an experienced Maintenance Sr. Supervisor to lead maintenance strategy and execution for the Juice Distribution and Storage (JDS) operation at our Bradenton, FL facility. This role is a key member of the Site, and plays a critical part in delivering safe, reliable, and cost-effective operations. The successful candidate will bring strong technical credibility, proven people leadership, and a continuous improvement mindset to elevate equipment reliability, technician capability, and overall department performance. Additional responsibilities include: Leading and developing frontline maintenance technicians across all shifts supporting JDS operations. Leading maintenance activities to ensure safe, food-safe, and reliable operation of blending, storage, and distribution systems. Owning execution and continuous improvement of the Preventive Maintenance (PM) program. Driving equipment reliability through effective planning, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis. Ensuring critical spare parts availability and technical readiness of the maintenance team. Prioritizing and scheduling maintenance work to maximize planned work and minimize downtime. Tracking and managing maintenance KPIs, including time confirmed, planned work completed, PM compliance, and equipment reliability. Using CMMS effectively to plan, execute, and analyze maintenance activities. Partnering with Operations, Engineering, and Quality to resolve issues and support production needs. Leading continuous improvement initiatives to improve uptime, efficiency, and cost. Maintaining strong plant floor presence and promoting a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement. Utilize visual factory concepts to maximize asset utilization and plant performance. Build maintenance technician capability through coaching and training development. Deploy reliability fundamentals strategies that develop technician competencies. Deliver effective change leadership. Communicate and collaborate cross-functionally to assist teams in solving operational issues. Build people capability through effective employee relations, hiring, training, and communication for front-line hourly personnel. Motivate team members to achieve plan goals. Administer policies and procedures. Maintain regular and predictable attendance at the work site. Prioritize work requests.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required, preferably in engineering, business, operations management, or a similar field.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship now or in the future
  • Must be located in Bradenton, FL surrounding area or willing to relocate for the duration of employment.
  • Willingness to be onsite daily in the Tropicana manufacturing plant in Bradenton, FL
  • Regular presence on the plant floor is required.
  • Occasional lifting of up to 40 lbs.
  • Occasional work in adverse weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, or snow.
  • May operate forklifts and manufacturing equipment occasionally.
  • May require off-shift and weekend work, as the facility operates 24/7.
  • May require some travel (less than 5%).
  • Minimum of 5 years of operations maintenance experience preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
  • Mechanical experience maintaining equipment.
  • Ability to give and receive constructive feedback.
  • Ability to lead a team-based approach to decision-making.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a results-oriented, challenging environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to achieve results through mentoring others.
  • Effective coaching, facilitation, presentation, and team-building skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) or similar credentials preferred.
  • Experience leading in a Union environment preferred.
  • Lean Six Sigma experience preferred, demonstrated by successful completion of a major improvement project.
  • Experience with SAP CMMS systems preferred.
  • Understanding of industrial control systems preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
