Requirements

Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field (preferred).
2–4 years of experience in material coordination, logistics, or automotive supply chain.
Knowledge of automotive manufacturing processes and just-in-time (JIT) material delivery.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to serve as a bridge between multiple stakeholders.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with ERP/MRP systems.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to shifting priorities.

Responsibilities

Act as the on-site liaison between Universal Logistics and GM production teams.
Monitor inbound and outbound material flow to ensure on-time delivery to GM assembly lines.
Track inventory levels, reconcile shortages/overages, and address any discrepancies in a timely manner.
Coordinate with GM production schedulers and Universal dispatch/planning teams to align supply chain activities.
Facilitate communication regarding expedited shipments, quality holds, or supply chain disruptions.
Support problem-solving efforts for material shortages, damaged goods, or late deliveries.
Maintain accurate records and prepare daily/weekly material status reports.
Ensure compliance with GM and Universal Logistics policies, safety standards, and operational procedures.
Participate in regular production and logistics meetings, providing updates and recommendations.
Build and maintain strong professional relationships with GM contacts, Universal management, and third-party providers.
