About The Position
GCON is delivering a landmark hyperscale data center campus in West Texas, purpose-built to support next-generation AI, cloud computing, and high-performance workloads. We are seeking experienced Sr. Superintendents to lead field execution on a multi-year program at the forefront of AI infrastructure development. This campus-scale deployment represents a rare opportunity to help build the physical backbone of artificial intelligence in one of the fastest-growing hyperscale markets in the country. The project is located in West Texas, within commuting distance of the MidlandOdessa region MidlandOdessa International Air & Space Port (MAF) serves as the primary airport hub for project travel Relocation, per diem, housing, and travel support are available for qualifying candidates This is a 25 year, project-based assignment with long-term stability and continuity Be part of the frontier of AI-driven construction, delivering infrastructure that supports global technology platforms Work on hyperscale, mission-critical facilities with extreme power density, advanced cooling, and redundant systems Join a long-term program with multiple phases and buildingsnot a short-duration project Lead execution on a project where precision, safety, and schedule directly impact AI deployment timelines The Senior Superintendent oversees multiple Superintendents and field teams, ensuring safety excellence, schedule certainty, and quality execution across a campus-scale hyperscale data center program. This role partners closely with Project Executives, Senior Project Managers, and Owners to deliver predictable results across a 25 year project lifecycle.
Requirements
- 12+ years of superintendent experience on large-scale commercial, industrial, or mission-critical projects
- Deep understanding of MEP-intensive construction sequencing
- Proven ability to lead large teams across multi-year programs
- Willingness to commit to a long-term West Texas assignment

- Prior hyperscale data center or mission-critical leadership strongly preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide senior field leadership across multiple buildings or project phases
- Lead and mentor Superintendents and Area Superintendents
- Drive master schedule adherence and milestone delivery
- Enforce industry-leading safety and quality standards
- Resolve high-impact sequencing and field execution challenges
- Coordinate closely with executive project leadership and owners
- Support long-term workforce and subcontractor planning
