Sr. Structural Engineer - Precast Walls/Soundwalls- Meriden

O&G Industries, Inc., an innovative and diversified construction company based out of Torrington, CT seeks a Sr. Structural Engineer with a focus on precast walls/soundwalls to join our team in Meriden. We are a highly respected leader in our field and ranked as one of the top construction firms in the Northeast. The Sr. Structural Engineer must be able to review contract plans and specs for constructability, have intimate knowledge in preparing and reviewing shop drawings for precast wall segments, noise barrier walls (ground and structure mounted) and precast box culverts. The Sr. Structural Engineer should also be able to assist in developing and implementing temporary earth retaining systems (steel sheet piles, soil nail walls, soldier pile, and Laging).
Requirements
- 10-15 years of experience relevant to the type of work and the scope of the project and/or previous experience as an Engineer
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse project teams
