The Senior Structural Engineer plays a critical role in the successful delivery of complex bridge and infrastructure projects. This position provides technical leadership throughout the construction lifecycle, from preconstruction review through execution, working closely with project teams, trades, and stakeholders.

Requirements

1015 years of experience in structural engineering and/or construction engineering, with relevance to heavy civil or bridge construction
Strong understanding of bridge construction methods and temporary works
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse project teams

Nice To Haves

Experience with cofferdams and temporary earth-retaining systems is a plus

Responsibilities

Review contract plans and specifications with a strong focus on constructability and field execution
Prepare and/or review working and shop drawings related to bridge structural steel, bridge bearings, and bridge joints
Support the development and implementation of erection and demolition plans
Provide clear, effective technical guidance to field personnel, subcontractors, and project teams
Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality construction outcomes
