About The Position

The Senior Director, Strategy & Planning will serve as a key strategic leader, responsible for driving company-wide strategic planning, portfolio management, and annual planning processes in alignment with global priorities. This role will partner closely with senior executives and cross-functional leaders to shape the long-term growth agenda, ensure resource allocation discipline, and guide strategic decision-making that advances the company's overall vision and performance.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in corporate strategy, strategic planning, management consulting, or a related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, management, economics, finance, or a related field. MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven track record in leading enterprise-level strategic planning and portfolio management.
  • Strong business acumen with experience in consumer goods, healthcare, nutrition, or related industries preferred.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and financial modeling skills.
  • Outstanding communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to influence senior executives and boards.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and driving complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, global, and matrixed environment.

Responsibilities

  • GPN Americas Strategic Planning: Lead the development and execution of the company-wide strategic plan, ensuring alignment with global group priorities, short- and long-term business objectives.
  • Annual Planning Process: Design, implement, and oversee the annual business planning process, ensuring consistency, rigor, and cross-functional collaboration across all business units in partnership with Global and GPN Americas businesses.
  • Portfolio Strategy: Lead the total portfolio strategy, including assessment of business segments, market opportunities, and investments to optimize growth and profitability.
  • Strategic Initiatives: Identify, prioritize, and drive critical enterprise initiatives that support sustainable growth, efficiency, and resilience.
  • Market & Competitive Insights: In partnership I&A, translate external trends, macro forces, and competitive dynamics into actionable strategies to future-proof the business.
  • Resource Allocation: Develop frameworks and tools for effective prioritization and resource allocation, ensuring investments align with strategic priorities working closely with PMO organization.
  • Executive & Board Engagement: Prepare and deliver high-quality materials, insights, and recommendations for executive leadership and board-level discussions.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Finance, GMs, CPNS, Operations, Legal, Human Resources and Growth Organization to ensure strategic alignment, integrated planning, and execution discipline.
  • Organizational Capability: Build a culture of strategic thinking, scenario planning, and disciplined execution across the organization.
