About The Position

The Subs & Growth team is looking for a Strategy & Activation Lead who can bring clarity and momentum to a fast-moving growth marketing environment. This is a true hybrid role — equal parts strategic thinker and operational executor — built for someone who can define the path forward and make sure the team is moving down it. You'll quickly identify the problem, work with analytics to interpret product usage and owned-channel performance data, and turn that into a clear POV, sharp frameworks, and actionable recommendations. But you won't stop at the deck — you'll own translating that strategy into prioritized workstreams, coordinating cross-functional execution, and tracking progress against goals.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in strategy, growth strategy, strategic operations, or related roles — consulting and in-house experience both welcomed
  • Strong critical thinking and comfort operating in ambiguity, with the ability to contribute meaningfully on day one
  • Proven ability to build and write: decks, narratives, and recommendations that hold up with senior stakeholders
  • Experience working with analytics partners and using data to inform strategy — you don't need to be the data miner
  • Familiarity with lower-funnel growth, subscriptions, performance marketing, or loyalty programs
  • Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable operating at speed with shifting priorities

Nice To Haves

  • Background in strategy consulting (strategy side vs. operations delivery), ideally at a firm such as Accenture, MediaLink, McKinsey, Deloitte, or similar
  • Experience working in large, matrixed organizations with multiple stakeholder groups
  • Familiarity with martech ecosystems or product-led growth environments

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a thought partner to the Subs & Growth team, diagnosing problems and developing clear strategic perspectives that drive key decisions and set future direction.
  • Translate product usage and owned-channel performance data into actionable insights that improve growth strategies and subscription outcomes.
  • Produce sharp, high-quality outputs — decks, narratives, and white-paper style documents — that communicate recommendations with clarity and conviction to senior stakeholders.
  • Own the translation of strategy into execution: propose, coordinate, and cascade strategic priorities through to delivery.
  • Build and maintain the rhythm of the business — tracking progress against goals, flagging risks early, and ensuring strategic intent stays intact through implementation.
  • Interact regularly with stakeholders to align on priorities and communicate recommendations with confidence.
