Works with the sales manager as one of the primary points of contact for the account, internally and externally.

Requirements

  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • College degree preferred.
  • Customer Service experience 3-5 years.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to interact with others in a team manner and effectively move projects along.
  • Strong data entry and keyboarding skills.
  • Proven ability to exercise solid judgment.
  • Proficient in MS Office Products, including Excel.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, ever-changing environment with limited supervision.
  • Complete tasks in a thorough, correct and timely manner.
  • Detail oriented with good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Ultimately responsible for all order entry and maintenance related to the account; if the account is an EDI account, this position is responsible for item mapping, price corrections, UOM alignment or additions to their contract.
  • Communicating item demand concerns.
  • Create and maintain the reports required by the account and update as necessary. These may include inventory management, order management or roll-out progress reports.
  • Act as the primary internal point of contact for that account. Act as the primary contact for that account in the absence of the NAM.
  • Be the internal coordinator for projects and issues related to the assigned account.
  • Perform various tasks that may be requested by the NAM.
  • Create and maintain account guidelines.
  • Maintain any online purchasing catalogs the account may have or provide necessary content.
  • Run interference on problems/opportunities to make sure that they are resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
  • Enter quotes to obtain pricing on special projects when necessary to assist the NAM.
  • Coordinate the shipping of prototypes for customer approval.
  • Travel may be necessary to the customer’s site for meetings and/or training purposes.
  • Run interference on problems/opportunities to make sure that they are resolved to the customer’s satisfaction in a timely manner.
  • Assist with collections/credit issues when necessary
  • Back up for Strategic Account Representative
  • Other duties as assigned
