Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Sr Staff Systems Engineer - MBSE Execution Lead - MBRIA. This position can be located in Roy, UT, Huntsville, AL, Colorado Springs, CO, or Manhattan Beach, CA , and supports the Sentinel program. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package. What You'll Get to Do The Sentinel program has an exciting opportunity for a Systems Engineer to join the team supporting activities including use case development, requirements definition / allocation, functional decomposition, interface definition, verification & validation, and requirements traceability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) with at least 14 years of progressive engineering experience; 12 years with Master's; 10 years with PhD.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application with an investigation completed within the last 6 years
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs
  • 8+ years of Experience implementing and using model-based systems engineering tools, practices, and methods
  • 5+ years of Strong program execution skills; demonstrated ability to meet program technical, cost, and schedule milestones

Nice To Haves

  • 3+ years experience in developing Enterprise architectures using UAF and associated languages
  • 3+ years experience in integrated digital technologies supporting various technical baselines
  • 3+ years experience in developing system architectures using SysML
  • 3+ years experience developing software architectures using UML
  • 3+ years experience leading engineering teams of various sizes
  • 3+ years experience mentoring and developing junior engineers

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with program IPT counterparts to develop supporting systems engineering and design artifacts
  • Work with both technical teams and stakeholders to develop and mature architecture content of large programs design
  • Help develop and incorporate the appropriate requirements for the system and ensure that they are properly represented in the model
  • Develop systems architecture using Cameo Enterprise Architecture (behavioral, structural, analytical)
  • Contribute to system requirements development, management, and analysis
  • Develop unifying model techniques, procedures, and processes (for model development, tool integration, and team integration)
