About the Role We’re looking for a Senior Staff Accountant to own and scale critical accounting processes across accounts receivable, billing, cash application, and general accounting. This is a highly visible role that sits at the center of our revenue operations and financial reporting. You’ll play a key role in building a best-in-class accounting function—driving accuracy, improving processes, and supporting a high-growth business. This role reports into Accounting leadership and partners cross-functionally with Finance, Revenue, and Operations.

Requirements

  • 4–7+ years of accounting experience (mix of AR, billing, and general ledger)
  • NetSuite experience is required
  • Strong experience with order-to-cash, billing, and cash application
  • Solid understanding of GAAP and revenue recognition principles
  • High proficiency in Excel
  • Curios and excited to utilize AI to minimize routine work and maximize automation

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in subscription, SaaS, or recurring revenue environments strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end order-to-cash processes, including billing, cash application, and collections
  • Manage and improve accounts receivable workflows, including customer setup, billing accuracy, and delinquency management
  • Apply and reconcile cash receipts and maintain accurate customer ledgers
  • Manage AI agents to assist with the overall order-to-cash workflow
  • Handle customer inquiries related to billing, payments, and account discrepancies
  • Support month-end close, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis
  • Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts, ensuring accuracy and consistency
  • Assist with revenue recognition (ASC 606), including deferrals and contract-based accounting
  • Contribute to financial reporting
  • Serve as a NetSuite power user , ensuring data integrity and process optimization
  • Build and improve scalable processes across AR/AP and billing workflows
  • Champion automation and efficiency across accounting operations (including AI-forward tools where applicable)
  • Support ad hoc projects tied to growth, system improvements, and operational scaling
