About The Position

The Senior Specialist – IT Process provides leadership in the operations of IT Change processes and systems, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy and objectives. This role focuses on driving process efficiency, coordinating activities across internal IT teams and external vendors, and ensuring compliance with established standards. Acts as a key contributor to continuous process improvement by identifying opportunities, implementing best practices, and fostering collaboration across teams. Engages with all levels of management and IT leadership to influence operational decisions, support strategic planning, and maintain effective communication. Builds strong relationships to ensure reliable support and leveraging technical expertise to enhance service delivery. Serves as a mentor and resource for peers, guiding the resolution of complex issues and promoting operational excellence.

Requirements

  • Business, Computer Science, related field or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years’ experience operating IT Service Management Processes such as Change, Problem, Release and Incident management.
  • Expertise in Continuous Improvement processes.
  • Ability to work in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environment.
  • Strong leadership skills, including the ability to set goals and provide constructive feedback respectfully to build positive relationships and improve business results.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team in a fast-paced changing environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization.
  • Ability to bridge communication between technical and business areas.
  • Multi-tasks, prioritizes and meets deadlines in timely manner.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and follow-up skills and ability to hold others accountable.
  • Ability to travel approximately 5%, including internationally.
  • Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance.

Nice To Haves

  • ServiceNow experience a plus
  • Previous healthcare technology industry experience a plus but not required.
  • Experience working in a broader enterprise/cross division business unit model preferred.
  • ITIL certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead the operations of IT Change processes, ensuring adherence to established standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Review Change Requests to confirm proper categorization, completeness, and compliance with defined processes.
  • Act as a resource for other change team members to ensure standardization of change reviews.
  • Ensure compliance with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, other regulatory requirements, company policies, and operating procedures.
  • Assist in providing requested information for audits and the resolution of findings.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships across internal teams and external vendors to ensure reliable support and service delivery.
  • Act as a mentor and resource for peers, providing guidance on process execution and issue resolution.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within IT Change operations.
  • Stay current on industry trends, regulatory requirements, and emerging technologies to recommend innovative, compliant, and cost-effective solutions.
  • Perform related functions and responsibilities as assigned to support business needs.
