Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (or equivalent experience) required.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in development operations, donor relations, or nonprofit operations.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure consistent, high-quality stewardship execution for assigned accounts by coordinating timelines, deliverables, and communications that meet agreed-upon standards for accuracy, timeliness, and professionalism.
  • Plan and manage donor engagement logistics (e.g., briefings, convenings, recognition activities, and reporting schedules) so that all stewardship touchpoints are delivered on time, fully prepared, and aligned with donor commitments.
  • Support account managers with high-quality materials by drafting, assembling, and coordinating donor communications, reports, proposals, and presentations that are complete, accurate, and ready for external use.
  • Own tracking of renewals, reporting deadlines, and stewardship commitments, proactively flagging upcoming deadlines, risks, or gaps to account managers and leadership to prevent lapses in engagement or compliance.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date CRM records by ensuring donor contact information, giving history, engagement notes, and documentation are complete, timely entered, and audit-ready.
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with finance, programs, training, and communications to gather required data and materials, ensuring donor reporting and engagement reflect accurate information and organizational priorities.
  • Develop and maintain standardized stewardship tools and processes (e.g., templates, checklists, timelines) that improve consistency, efficiency, and scalability across the account management function.
  • Monitor portfolio health indicators (e.g., renewal timing, reporting status, engagement cadence) and surface risks or issues early, supporting informed decision-making by account managers and leadership.
  • Serve as a reliable central coordination point to ensure donors experience timely, consistent, and professional communication across all interactions.
  • Support special donor initiatives and campaigns as assigned, meeting defined timelines, quality standards, and deliverables established by the Director or Vice President of Account Management.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
