Operating with high autonomy, this role leads cross‑functional teams and governs supplier performance to ensure secure supply, regulatory compliance, and measurable business outcomes for ACCO Brands.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 7+ years progressive experience in strategic sourcing in the paper/print industry.
  • Proven results managing multimillion‑dollar global spend.
  • Expertise in negotiation, SRM, risk management, and cost modeling.
  • Experience influencing executives and leading global teams.
  • ERP proficiency (SAP preferred) and advanced analytics skills.

Nice To Haves

  • MBA or certifications (CIPS, CPSM, CSCP).
  • Global supply base experience.
  • Familiarity with quality systems and supplier development.

Responsibilities

  • Own the global paper & print category strategy with a 3‑year roadmap covering segmentation, make/buy, dual sourcing, footprint optimization, and innovation.
  • Translate market intelligence into sourcing strategies and commercial plans.
  • Set and deliver annual targets aligned to corporate objectives.
  • Serve as subject‑matter expert for paper grades, print processes, converting, coatings, inks, adhesives, and specification management.
  • Lead supplier identification, qualification, and final selection.
  • Architect and negotiate long‑term agreements.
  • Ensure contract coverage and compliance.
  • Conduct structured risk reviews with defined mitigations.
  • Partner with compliance teams to ensure adherence to corporate requirements.
  • Resolve delivery disruptions and quality incidents with corrective actions
  • Lead cross‑functional teams to set cost targets and supply decisions.
  • Provide project management for major sourcing projects.
  • Manage relationships with the manufacturing site, marketing and senior leadership.
  • Build should‑cost models and TCO frameworks.
  • Track savings, PPV, inflation/deflation, and working capital.
  • Monitor global market trends.
  • Ensure materials meet spec accuracy, quality, and cost targets.
  • Optimize supplier relationships and long‑term agreements.
