The Sr. Sourcing Analyst leads the tactical efforts supporting the effective procurement of all category needs within their assigned area, striving to purchase at the best total cost and maintaining our standards of quality and service. Additional responsibilities will include supporting and participating in the development of sourced finished goods strategies, driving productivity, and completing competitive assessments. This role will support sourcing initiatives including new product development, supplier metrics, and on-going data management.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in business, supply chain, or related fields; or comparable experience
1 to 3 years procurement/sourcing experience in direct materials sourcing is preferred
Ability to create and deliver a strong and persuasive message through presentation materials and data
Basic negotiation knowledge and skillset; default mindset to approach negotiations using data
Ability to manage multiple projects to completion
Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
Strong commitment to the highest standards of personal and professional integrity
Ability to organize and analyze data using a PC; Intermediate proficiency in Excel a must
Experience Excel, PowerPoint and Word is required
Ability to travel domestically about 10% of the time.

Experience in SAP is preferred

Responsibilities

Support the sourcing manager in development and execution of sourcing strategies for the cleaning category, including leading these activities with designated suppliers:
Quotation preparation and negotiation activities
Product / Part Qualification
NPD Support
Assist in the delivery of 3-5% YOY productivity (cost reduction) goals for cleaning sourced finished goods
Work cross-functionally to ensure all business needs are met (Engineering, Quality, Marketing)
Support supply base rationalization using category spend and supplier capacity analysis
Support supplier relationship management activities (QBRs, weekly meetings, productivity/innovation opportunities, etc.)
Set up and maintain accurate costing information in SAP and administer SAP requirements
Coordinate with the supplier and planner to minimize excess and obsolete inventory
Lead data integrity efforts (spend data gathering/verification, RFx analytics, etc.)
