About The Position

Tabs is hiring a Senior Solutions Consultant based in New York to play an integral role in our post-sales process helping craft solutions and be a thought partner to both our Post-Sales organization and our clients. This is a perfect role for someone who is looking to join an exceptional team at the earliest stages and have a massive hand in our growth acceleration.

Requirements

  • 5–8+ years of accounting experience, with demonstrated growth in scope and strategic impact.
  • Expertise in financial system architecture and revenue workflows, particularly across contract-to-cash and month-end close cycles.
  • Skilled in consultative discovery and solution design, partnering with customers to translate business requirements into scalable system configurations.
  • Executive-ready communicator capable of articulating complex accounting frameworks (especially ASC 606, SSP, deferrals) to both finance and non-finance audiences.
  • Strong business acumen with a collaborative, cross-functional approach and a focus on driving durable customer outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate the Tabs platform to customers, focusing on solving business problems and articulating end-to-end workflows.
  • Lead discovery and scoping sessions, especially for technical ASC 606 revenue recognition requirements; translate outcomes into implementation plans.
  • Design and run proof-of-concept (PoC) efforts to validate proposed solutions and de-risk implementations.
  • Consult and guide post-sales projects to ensure feasibility, clarity, and on-time delivery of solutions.
  • Create workflow maps, implementation proposals, technical scopes, and other customer-facing assets.
  • Advocate for customers internally—surface needs, unblock issues, and push for alignment when necessary.
  • Push back tactfully when proposed customer requests conflict with product strategy or feasibility, driving constructive alignment and action.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders, delivering a consultative approach to technical and business problem-solving.
  • Support post-sales meetings with a solutions-oriented presence, ensuring continuity between sales promises and implementation outcomes.
