About The Position

As a Sr. Solutions Architect, you’ll help drive Concora Credit’s Mission to enable customers to Do More with Credit – every single day. As the Sr. Solutions Architect for Originations, you will design innovative, resilient, high-quality digital experiences that connect millions of consumers responsibly with credit, helping them achieve more. The position is located at our headquarters in Beaverton, Oregon, where you will guide teams of developers and quality engineers working in the office and across the country. Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience developing full-stack software solutions and architectures.
  • Leading the design, construction, integration and deployment of cloud-native transaction processing systems.
  • REST API development for highly scalable and performant systems.
  • Delivering complex applications on the Microsoft Azure platform.
  • UX development using React or a similar framework desired.
  • Coding In C#, .NET, and JavaScript. PHP/Drupal experience desired.
  • Selecting and applying security patterns.
  • Performance tuning distributed transactions and groups of backend services.
  • Developing systems with Azure Durable Functions or a similar orchestration mechanism.

Responsibilities

  • Report to our VP of Originations Technology and partner closely with our Enterprise Architects.
  • Guide agile engineering teams to develop platform and consumer journey components.
  • Collaboratively develop architecture diagrams, roadmaps, design documents, and other guidance.
  • Have experience designing and implementing scalable and easily maintainable/deployable modular/microservice designs.
  • Have experience or familiarity with AI tools for best practice use in system and software design.
  • Lead rapid application design sessions with both internal and external participants.
  • Identify and diagram all new and changed components, including infrastructure, applications (code), and databases, which are necessary to deliver business-to-business and business-to-consumer solutions.
  • Guide the evolution of high-volume APIs that our retail merchant and credit platform partners rely on.
  • Develop and maintain the technical roadmap for the Originations organization.
  • Deliver and present conceptual and logical solution designs.
  • Practice and evangelize an intense focus on customer experience.
  • Select and apply best practices for design, coding, and security.
  • Consult regularly with internal specialists in information security, compliance, data, quality, infrastructure, and DevOps.
  • Coach other engineers as necessary and lead by example through expert coding and proofs of concept.
