As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll deliver complex code solutions. You'll support the build and deployment pipeline and when necessary, diagnose / solve production support or on-call issues. You'll contribute to overall system design, architecture, security, scalability, reliability, application performance and provide end-to-end support. The Hivemind team is a tight, close-knit team of full stack engineers building modern web applications using Angular, NestJS, GraphQL and PostgreSQL. We’re deploying our application to Google Cloud Platform and using Datadog and Amplitude for monitoring and usage analytics. Our application is a tool that allows Partners to order product into our warehouses which ultimately enables our ability to feed Texans!

Requirements

A Computer Science degree or comparable formal training, certification, or work experience
5+ years of experience in software development
Proficient in multiple programming languages, technologies, and frameworks.
We use Angular and NestJS. Experience working with other technologies like React or Vue are also valuable.
Experience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, or Oracle and messaging middleware like GCP Pub/Sub.
Advanced knowledge in system and data architecture, data modeling, and design and capable of architecting and designing at the application or service level using well-accepted design patterns
Able to review platform designs for strength of engineering solutions, namely performance, sustainability, and iterative development potential.
Experience with common software engineering tools (e.g., Git, Jira, Confluence)
Experience successfully producing consistent, high-quality results.
Comprehensive knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, design patterns, system architecture and design patterns
Advanced understanding of development methodologies and processes
Proficient at analyzing memory and performance issues using profiling tools.

Responsibilities

Deliver complex code solutions.
Support the build and deployment pipeline and when necessary, diagnose / solve production support or on-call issues.
